It is extremely important to use the signal light when overtaking a vehicle or making a turn. The vehicles coming in front and back are warned to slow down by the signal lights. However, most Lankans simply ignore this very important rule and drive like they own the road, while another group of idiotic drivers put the wrong signal light when turning, making the drivers following him to brake hard to save their lives. This is also one of the major reasons for road accidents. Therefore, it is extremely important to be mindful of the signal lights.
